Provided new thinking models and coaching to meet emerging situations. Team created new organizational design, compensation structure, job changes, and model for working together that kept company from predictable financial decline and generated continued profitability over next four years.

Assisted Fortune 500 Company in Turning Around Stagnant Revenues and Profits. Worked closely with Engelhard Corp. Executive Team and consulted with senior levels down to department manager in providing new thinking models and breakthrough project technology as well as coaching. Helped company return to leadership in creativity and innovation with creation of several breakthrough products including one leading to joint venture with Ford Motor Company.

Helped International Consumer Products Company Capture Market with Breakthrough Product. Consulted with CEO and Executive Team of Oral B in improving their product development process. Helped lead changes that resulted in new product design and manufacture, including new plant. Product was brought to market in 25% less time than planned and captured market due to its revolutionary nature.

Worked with Senior Management Team to Reduce Maintenance Shutdown Time. Cut smelter shutdown time from 11-14 days to new company standard of 8 days, saving $12-$24 million annually. Assisted VP and shutdown team of Magma Copper in designing breakthrough project for 120-hour (5 day) shutdown. Company achieved world-record shutdown in 115 hours, 55 minutes.

Consulted with Company on Creating Customer Satisfaction Program. Supported achievement of increasing customer satisfaction from 65% to 86% in six months and reducing development time for new products by 67%. Designed and delivered organization-wide communications training program for 1800 employees. Assisted with introduction of organizational re-engineering initiative in national, collaborative product development organization, Stentor, owned by 10 telephone companies in Canada.

Assisted European Franchise in Turning Around Flat Growth and Profits. Turned around flat growth and profits and achieved number one position in worldwide sales for Dale Carnegie organization in Scandinavia and Hungary by designing consulting/coaching programs. After two programs franchise had 12 of the top 25 individual salespeople.

Designed Program to Help European Companies Increase Sales Volume. Annual sales volume increased by 20% to 100% in participating European Dale Carnegie organizations following creation and delivery of in-house Executive Excellence Program. Supported growth of culture of cooperation between franchisee association leaders and Dale Carnegie Associates executives following delivery of several programs in six countries.

Designed Workshops to Improve Communication and Cooperation between Company and Consultants. Increased IT output by 60-100% and speed by 100% after working with company, Ryder, and Andersen Consulting to improve communications and establish common goals. Created workshops to bring IT department, company executives, and consulting firm into agreement on goals and focus.

Co-Designed Program to Alter the Culture of Performance Management. Worked on design, development and delivery teams for Effective Performance Conversations program delivered to all BP managers worldwide. Program is acknowledged in BP as having already impacted performance and performance management in the organization.

Co-Designed Program to Improve Execution and Performance. Took lead on design, development, and leader training for Conversant program The Execution Catalyst for in-house and open enrollment delivery. Program has been delivered with high ratings in Bell Canada, Ball Aerospace, Si Systems, Microsoft, and Kodak.
